JR is currently working on his fourth year in CCISD. For his first last two years, he was located at C.C. Miller High School prior to moving to Carroll. A native of Corpus Christi, JR is a graduate of W.B. Ray High School's class of 1999 and Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi's class of 2003. Since 2003, JR has attended classes at the Arizona School of Health Sciences in Mesa, AZ, worked numerous internships with the Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins, and at Fischer Sports Physical Therapy in Tempe, AZ. JR serves as the President for the Coastal Bend Athletic Trainers' Society, and region 9 representative for the TSATA Professional Working Conditions committee. Aside from work, he is an avid fisherman, hunter, and outdoorsman.
A native of Corpus Christi, Texas and a graduate of W.B. Ray High School, Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Associates proudly welcome the association of Dr. Brian L. Patterson. Dr. Patterson is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon. He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Texas, in Houston, Texas. During his residency, Dr. Patterson served as Chief Resident. Dr. Patterson has presented research papers at medical meetings and has had his work published in a medical journal. He is a member of the Nueces County Medical Society and the Texas Medical Association.
A native of Portland, Texas, Dr. Schlimmer is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon. He earned his medical degree and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During his residency, Dr. Schlimmer served as both Administrative Chief Resident of Pediatric Orthopaedics and Administrative Chief Resident. Following his residency, Dr. Schlimmer completed an arthroscopy and sports medicine fellowship at Greater Chesapeake Orthopaedic Associates/Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a member of the Nueces County Medical Society, Texas Medical Association and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Madeline is a Corpus Christi native and graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School. After graduation she attended the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. She later began working in the high schools at Liberty Christian before moving to Victoria Memorial in 2006.
